The novel Coronavirus pandemic has changed the lives of everyone across the world and has made it extremely different from the one which people used to have a few months ago. The lockdown caused due to the pandemic has also created people to maintain social distancing and thus shutting down most of the business other than the ones which comes under the essential goods and services category. It has also created distance among relatives and friends as lockdown prohibits one from stepping out of the house.

These reasons have increased the demand for video calls as this is the only way to at least stay virtually close with the closed ones. Due to lack of enough number of online platforms which provides the feature of having more than two participants in a video call, Zoom app was started to be used by many. Later on, many other tech companies came up with increasing the number of participants that can participate in a video call using those apps.

Similarly, the tech giant Facebook has also came up presently with an increase in the number of participants that can be enrolled in a video call using the Facebook Messenger Rooms. This new feature in Messenger Rooms enables up to participants in a video call. This new feature enables one to join the video call only if the users in the video call send the link to those people who they wish to join. The ones who wishes to join can enter into the video call by just clicking the link.
